The formation of the League of Nations (Collective Security)

Purpose of League of Nations was to make sure war never broke out again. The US Congress felt they did not need to be in the middle of World affairs. Although he came up with the collective security, he could not convince them to join.
The purpose of this was to have peace among countries, and make decisions as one. This process was doomed from the beginning due to Russia in Communism, Germany because they lost the war, and USA because of their Isolationism.

Summary
After the Paris Peace Treaty Conference, Wilson created the League of Nations to help prevent another war by keeping peace between countries and making decisions as one. But as Russia, Germany, and US were not involved it was doomed from the start.
